On the way home from our Lollapalooza Tour this summer, we were invited to perform live at the Daytrotter studios in Rock Island, IL. So, we stopped by and played four tracks of the new album Aqueduct Or Give Me Death and ended up with a very cool energetic live recording of these tunes. Please stop by over at Daytrotter.com and enjoy our performance as well as hundreds of other great bands, that have played live in the coolest little studio in the Midwest. Big thanks to everyone at Daytrotter for having us on the air.

We had a blast last weekend playing our first Lollapalooza in Chicago!!! Our crowd was possibly one of our biggest ever and the show went over fantastically. Of course we covered an R. Kelly song to represent Chi-Town and of course a few people have already posted it on YouTube. Check it out!!! Thanks to Spin.com for reviewing the show and to the guy in the Jesus t-shirt that got down and got freaky. We also did an impromptu radio spot for Chicago radio personalities Ron & Bob. We were kind enough to edit out the song's profanity off the cuff and they were kind enough to send us a copy. Listen here, it turned out pretty awesome! Big ups to everyone who came out to the shows we played to and from Lollapalooza, and super big ups to Smoosh for being such awesome tour mates!!!

Aqueduct will be participating in a special event this Saturday in Seattle at Neumos in Capitol Hill. The concert is a benefit for The Vera Project where 25 musicians from the Seattle scene get together, draw names out of a hat, form a band, write some songs, and perform, all within the span of a day. It's going to be an awesome affair for sure. Don't miss it!!! More info here...
I can barely believe it but Aqueduct has nearly completed the awesome feat of playing 53 shows in 62 days. And it feels as if we've only just begun. The tour has been a rollercoaster ride of awesome experiences. Sold out shows in San Francisco, Austin, Boston, NYC, and DC have been only some of the highlights, alongside touring with such great bands as Annuals, Youth Group and our current tour mates What Made Milwaukee Famous. We've got few shows left with WMMF and we're really looking forward to getting back to Seattle and ending the tour with two shows at The Crocodile. Thanks to everyone that made it out to the shows on this tour. You made our year!!!
Aqueduct will be taking a break from the road upon our return home but you can catch us playing some pretty great festivals this summer. We'll be at Sasquatch end of May, Lollapallooza in Chicago early August, and at Bumbershoot in Seattle on September 1st. Hope to see you out at one or all of those!!!
Aqueduct Or Give Me Death is officially out and available today!!!
Go get it.

Our week of shows with Of Montreal has been going great! Tomorrow night is in Seattle at the Showbox with ourselves and The Blow. Thanks to Kevin and the rest of the Of Montreal gang for having us play these shows with them.
Barsuk has made an awesome ecard for the new record. You can stream the entire album, we're talking fancy stuff here. Also, when you pre-order the record, you'll receive a link to two bonus MP3s of exclusive songs. Don't hesitate!
The Showbox show is sold out. My apologies to the Seattle fans that can't make it. But a reminder that we are playing a free instore at Easy Street Records in Queen Anne, Feb. 23rd, at 7pm should make up for this injustice.
Our spring tour is now completely updated. We're off and running at the end of February, a week after the new record comes out. We'll be playing shows with Annuals, Youth Group, and What Made Milwaukee Famous. It's going to be awesome hitting the road with such great bands.
Also, we'll be warming up for the big tour by playing three shows with Of Montreal in the northwest, early Feb, and an free instore at Easy Street Records in Seattle the week the album comes out. Check the SHOWS page for all the info.
Happy to announce most of the tour dates are up on the SHOWS page. 30 States, 40+ Shows, 2 Months. Can't wait!!! The new album is out Feb. 20. Three new songs posted on myspace.
Barsuk superstar employee Forrest, spotted our infamous green AQUEDUCTISGOODMUSIC shirt on the new MTV reality show I'm from Rolling Stone. Colin the bright young mind from LA/Eugene, OR, donned the tee on the first episode. Hat's off to you buddy, we're rooting for you. Obviously you know good music. Good eye Forrest, thanks!
